Maintenance For daily cleaning use a mild, non-abrasive soap. Stone soap can also be used for maintenance and conditioning. Do not use abrasive or ammoniated cleansers or bleaches. We do not recommend using most natural cleansers (which are often citrus based), as they are typically highly acidic. Indoor use: Add the plug and make sure it is properly tightened. For effective drainage and absorption, we recommend placing expanded clay (Leca) at the bottom of the planter, about 3 cm deep. Outdoor use: Ensure proper drainage by allowing free and unobstructed flow from the flowerpot. Do not add the plug in the bottom. In freezing temperatures, ensure there is no standing water inside the planters. For winter storage we recommend covering and raising the item off the ground.
